Misterio
The Misterio collection is inspired by the Northern Lights — a natural phenomenon that was perceived by many northern cultures as a manifestation of supernatural forces. This image is expressed through a combination of textured cast glass with a Multicolor effect and a ring-shaped LED element directing light into the glass form. Passing through the relief surface, the light is refracted, creating coloured reflections and organic light patterns on the surrounding surfaces.
The flowing, wave-like shape of the glass evokes both a celestial sphere and the movement of light across the night sky. Due to the complexity of its geometry, the shade consists of two cast-glass halves connected by a metal ring. An LED strip with a matte diffuser is integrated inside the ring, providing soft and comfortable illumination. In this way, a technically necessary structural element becomes an essential part of the visual identity of the luminaire.
Particular attention during the development of the collection was paid to the interaction between light and glass. Different shapes, textures and colouring techniques were explored to achieve the most expressive refraction of light. When illuminated, the glass appears to come alive: its colours and reflections change depending on the viewing angle, recalling the constantly shifting movement of the Northern Lights.
Misterio combines a strong decorative effect with functional illumination. The luminaires provide a significant luminous output and can be used as primary or supplementary lighting above work surfaces, in relaxation areas or as part of decorative compositions. At the same time, their colourful reflections transform the luminaires into light-based art objects capable of changing the perception of a space.
The collection has received international design recognition. In 2025, Misterio received the Silver Award at the A' Design Award and Competition in the Lighting Products and Fixtures Design category. In 2026, the collection received the Red Dot Award: Product Design in the Lighting Design category.
Misterio is a portal of light where colour, glass and illumination come together in a constantly changing visual image.
